A working home for cultural founders

Residency.

A unit inside Waterlab, a small circle of founders working nearby, and the lab close enough when the next decision matters.

Inside the term

Your venture's home base.

Residency is a working term inside Waterlab: your own unit, a small circle of founders nearby, and a building rhythm that supports the work while letting it stay self-directed.

Who you'll work near

A small group, already in motion.

A residency at Waterlab is a slow, deliberate group of people doing real work, who happen to share a building and a table.

You'll know who's next door. You'll know what they're making. They'll know you.

Lab access

The lab, within reach.

Residency keeps the lab close, for occasional check-ins when the work has moved enough to deserve one. The access is bounded, situational, and tied to real movement in the work.

A full Formation Read remains separate: a deeper, premium sitting when the stakes call for that level of attention.

What's in it

One term. Three things.

Residency is a full term. We talk pricing and application together, once we know the founder, the timing, and the fit.

One

A unit

Your own space inside the building, set up for the way you actually work.

Two

Access to the lab

Occasional check-ins when the work has moved enough to deserve one. Formation Read stays separate as a deeper premium sitting.

Three

The other founders

A small group of cultural founders working nearby, close enough to sharpen each other's work.

For space-only needs, standard unit leases at the building are handled separately, through Seryus.

Start with the room.

Most founders decide after an hour inside. Start with a Residency inquiry, or schedule a visit first.
